Bitburger Premium

Today I'm posting a guest review from James Lau: Graphic & Web designer, and amateur photographer. I met James at an Eco Tweet-up, and have seen him at subsequent Tweet-ups. At the most recent tweet-up I found out that James is a huge beer fan. I recommended that he do a guest review for me. James had the same reaction as most people do, which is something along the lines of: "I've never reviewed a beer before", or "I don't know all the terminology". To which I always reply...it's about enjoying the beer, not about getting everything right in describing it or using a bunch of fancy words! I love this review he provided...simple and down to earth!

Before I opened a Bitburger beer, I need to review this beer!

Says on the bottle...
- Germany's No.1 Draught Beer
- Made using crystal clear water from volcanic springs. Brewed since
1817 according to the German Purity Law of 1516.
- 4.8 alc./vol.

I would describe this beer at a lighter beer then the Sam Adam's Noble
Pils beer. Less hop flavor, but has a nice crisp...taste. Sorry for my
lack of beer language lingo here. LOL Definitely a much lighter beer
then light I would say. Not much of a "bite" from the "BIT." LOL

I can easily gun this down in less than a minute...sorry Germany...I
like German beer, but this wasn't something that stood out as an
astonishingly new German beer for me. You can cruise through 4-5 of this
beer in less then 20 minutes...if i wanted too.

Comes in a 6 pack, at around $9.59 with tax.
